In Week 6 the San Francisco 49ers have another divisional game, but now as a visitor. They face the Seattle Seahawks. Plus, it’s a short week where the team has a chance to tie Seattle for the record if they can win. The Seahawks currently lead the NFC West division with a 3-2 record. It is never easy to play in Seattle because in addition to the talent that the Seahawks have on the field, their fans never stop shouting and supporting, creating a very difficult atmosphere for the visitor. But the 49ers have many players who know how to play these types of games and the talent to try to get back to winning ways.
Aiyuk Annotates his Primer Touchdown
In this game I think wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk will score his first touchdown of the season. The 49ers receiver is coming off his best game against the Cardinals, leading San Francisco with eight receptions for 147 yards. The only thing missing was the score as the icing on the cake. But his great performance in Week 5 tells us that Aiyuk can score his first touchdown at any time because every week we see Aiyuk more in rhythm, with a level similar to what he showed last year, when he led the team in receptions and surpassed the thousand yards with the passes he caught.
Five Marshal Captures
The Seahawks are coming off allowing seven quarterback sacks in their loss to the New York Giants. Against the Detroit Lions they allowed three and in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins they allowed another three sacks. So I don’t see it as out of the realm of reality that the 49ers can have success with sacks in Seattle this Thursday. I think that with players on the outside of the defensive line like Nick Bosa and Leonard Floyd, plus others on the interior of the line like Maliek Collins, San Francisco has everything to generate enough pressure on the quarterback. I dare say they will have five sacks against the Seahawks.
