From Friday, April 9, Zaporozhye and Khmelnytsky regions are moving into the “red” quarantine zone.
The Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Oleg Nemchinov announced this on the Telegram channel. The decision was made at an extraordinary meeting of the State Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies.
“From 00 hours 00 minutes on April 9, 2021 – the” red “level of the epidemic danger of the spread of COVID-19 in the Zaporozhye and Khmelnytsky regions,” – said in the message.
It is noted that in these two regions, restrictive anti-epidemic measures are being introduced, provided for the “red” level of epidemic danger.
Now “red” quarantine zone operates in 10 regions of Ukraine: Lvov, Transcarpathian, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zhitomir, Kiev, Nikolaev, Chernigov, Sumy and Odessa. The rest of the regions are in the “orange” and only the Kherson region is in the “yellow” zone.
We add that “Ukrzaliznytsia” spoke about commuter train traffic in Khmelnytsky, Zaporozhye and Lviv regions.
“By the decision of the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies of the Khmelnytsky region,” Ukrzaliznytsia “temporarily cancels the running of suburban trains on the territory of the region from April 8. “, – the message says.
In Lviv and Zaporozhye regions, suburban passages run unchanged.
Note that the “red” zone will be introduced if at least two out of five indicators will exceed the norm for three days in a row:

occupancy of beds with oxygen in the region by more than 65%

more than 60 hospitalizations with COVID-19 per 100 thousand population within 7 days

an increase in the number of hospitalizations in the region by 50% per week
-
the rate of detected cases of coronavirus among tested more than 20%
-
less than 300 PCR tests in seven days per 100 thousand population
In the “red” zone, it is prohibited:

reception of visitors by catering establishments
-
operation of shopping and entertainment centers and other entertainment establishments
-
operation of non-food shops and markets
-
work of cultural institutions
-
holding mass events
-
holding sports matches with spectators (held without spectators)
-
visits to educational institutions
We will remind that earlier in Chernihiv due to the growth of hospitalized of patients with coronavirus further strengthened the quarantine: in transport, people were allowed to move around with a pass and only in seated places, and from April 8 – to walk around the city wearing masks even on the street.
