MORELIA, Mich., February 11, 2023.- The national president of the PRD, Jesús Zambrano Grijalva, will lead this Saturday the session of the PRD State Political Council, where a special pronouncement will be issued regarding the 2023 elections in the State of Mexico and Coahuila.
This is the fifth ordinary plenary session of the eleventh State Council, where the top leader of the PRD and candidate for the 2024 presidential candidacy, Silvano Aureoles Conejo, will also be present, who will issue a message to PRD leaders of the entity.
The PRD conclave will take place in the halls of the Best Western Hotel, starting at 10 am; At this meeting, a work report for the 2022 financial year will also be presented and the 2023 work plan will be discussed.
At this meeting, a special resolution will be approved, through which the PRD pronounces itself on the upcoming electoral processes in the State of Coahuila and the State of Mexico, which will take place this year, and which will be the prelude to 2024.
The annual financial report will be read and the work plan of the Executive State Directorate will be approved, as well as the budget for fiscal year 2023, in which the PRD will exercise a prerogative of 33 million pesos.
Former Governor Silvano Aureoles, in his capacity as national counselor, will take the floor. The presidential candidate has reiterated his commitment to the reconstruction of the PRD at the national level, to overthrow Morena, in unity and with a viable project for a social democratic government.
The meeting will end with a message to the militancy by the highest official of the national PRD, Jesús Zambrano, who is currently leading the meetings with the PAN and PRI to seek an electoral alliance in 2024.
