The Football Association had taken a decision against Mohamed El-Shennawy to suspend 4 matches with a fine of 20 thousand pounds due to his unsportsmanlike behavior towards Mohamed Salama, the referee who directed the red team match against Al-Ahly Bank, which brought them together in the eighth round of the Egyptian We League championship and ended in a goalless draw.
The Football Association retracted its decision yesterday evening, Wednesday, and decided to reduce Al-Shenawi’s penalty by suspending only one match, in addition to increasing the financial penalty to 50 thousand pounds.
