Zaluzhny sent a petition to the Ministry of Defense – UNIAN

Now the decision is up to the Cabinet of Ministers and, in particular, Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny asks for permission to travel abroad for Ukrainian students.

This was reported in the Telegram of the People’s Deputy from the “Servant of the People” Yulia Grishina.

According to her, Zaluzhny made a gift to Ukrainian students for the Youth Day.

“Today, the Ministry of Defense received an appeal from him with a request to allow those who are not subject to conscription for military service during mobilization for a special period to travel abroad. These are, in particular, students,” she said.

As is known, students, graduate students and doctoral students of universities are still prohibited from leaving the country, despite the fact that they are not subject to mobilization.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada draft laws on extending martial law and general mobilization. Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine will be extended for 90 days – from August 23 to November 21.
