Zalugny’s direct speech: “I had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the British Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin. I informed my colleague about the operational situation along the entire front line.
On the Bakhmut direction – the most difficult. Thanks to the titanic efforts of the Defense Forces, the situation has been stabilized.”
Details: Zaluzhny and Radakin also discussed the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense (AD).
They agreed to develop cooperation and keep in touch.
Zaluzhny thanked Admiral Radakin for his support.
“Thanks to the help of our partners, we are holding on and will certainly win!” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces assured.
Recall: Russian troops have been trying to capture the cities of Bakhmut and Avdeevka in the Donetsk region for many months, but they have not been able to completely encircle them.
The Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions are now the hottest on the front line, although – according to representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Forces – both in the Bakhmut region and near Avdiivka, the Russian army is gradually slowing down.
