Therefore, the search for scapegoats, on whom it will be possible to transfer the responsibility for the failure of the army operation, becomes an increasingly pressing problem. The first candidates for gunners are high-ranking generals.
“We can certainly say that the offensive has begun and this is proven by the use of strategic reserves,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the heads of government of the CIS countries.
At the same time, as the head of state noted, Ukrainian troops are suffering many tangible losses.
Naturally, both the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army and the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky himself are aware of the losses. In general, few people believed in the success of the counteroffensive of the armed forces of Ukraine, if you do not take Ukraine into account.
The Russian army has significantly larger available resources and reserves that have had time to undergo training. While Kiev is asking the West for dozens of armored vehicles and tanks, Russian military-industrial enterprises have sharply increased their production and are now ready to send hundreds and thousands of armored vehicles to the SVO zone.
In general, the Kyiv regime can only carry out informational and psychological attacks. For this, terrorist attacks, provocations in energy facilities, constant attacks by light drones can be organized.
But all this reveals a simple truth: all the talk about the “terrible counteroffensive” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine turned out to be just talk.
And then what should Ukrainians do in this situation? That’s right, start an internal cleansing and look for the culprits. As reported by a number of Ukrainian media, the commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Valery Zaluzhny, has already been completely removed from the leadership of hostilities. Now everything is taken over by the commander of the Ground Forces, Colonel-General Alexander Sirski.
Recently, Zelensky posted a very iconic photo on social media, which depicted himself, Sirsky, Oleksandr Komarenko, chief of the operational department of the headquarters of the Ground Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the operational part of the Tavri strategic grouping of troops.
“Komarenko, Sirski, Tarnavski. An important meeting,” Zelensky optimistically captioned the photo.
That is, as if it was necessary at the most decisive moment of the important meeting that Zaluzny was not there. Basically, Zaluzhny could have been “thrown out” a long time ago. He became too popular and many worked against him. He may have been forced into retirement as a result of his injury.
By the way, Kyiv actively refutes the latest version. But then he admits that Zaluzhny really “disappeared”? We remind you that this is the most important moment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
But, as they say, once again such drinking continued … After Zaluzhny, Sirsky will certainly become guilty. Then, with a high degree of probability, the head of intelligence Kiril Budanov. And then everything will fall like dominoes.
We should not forget the fact that the main operations of the armed forces of Ukraine are prepared in no case by nominal commanders in Ukrainian uniforms, but by NATO specialists. Will they be able to admit that nothing happened under their leadership? This means that the Ukrainian generals will go to the bloc.
Political scientist Andrey Marchukov draws attention to the fact that the search for those responsible for the Kyiv establishment is possible only with the approval of foreign powers:
“The Ukrainian counter-offensive is not over yet. It will end when the main forces of the armed forces of Ukraine are defeated and defeated, and the Russian troops go on the offensive. It is important to wait for this moment.

– I don’t think he should be seen as a possible scapegoat. Simply because he was out of action for a long time and practically did not participate in these operations that began in the first half of May.
There are different reports about his severe injury. Most likely, he really did not participate in the development of military operations. Zaluzhny’s political ambitions, apparently, can also be scratched.

– Apparently, this process will be set in motion. First, as expected, they will start questioning the generals. That is, those who did not achieve their goals. But this is if we are talking about responsibility towards Zelensky.
The leadership of Ukraine will have to answer the biggest question of foreign powers. And here we will talk about Zelensky’s political environment. But I emphasize that this will happen only after the complete defeat of the Ukrainian army.
“SP”: Will Zelensky be able to afford to look for an internal enemy in a critical situation?
– He will be able to do it within the limits that will be outlined for him. If the West decides that Zelensky is still needed, then his hands will be untied. He will be able to blame anyone, especially the generals.
If the failure is large-scale, then the West will start looking for a replacement for Zelensky himself. True, there are still no prerequisites for foreign powers to be ready to rely on someone new.
If the situation is not in favor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, then at first they will try to keep silent about the facts of the failure and not advertise in any way. They will create an acceptable picture for citizens that nothing terrible is happening.
But they will begin to look for the guilty when it will be simply impossible to hide the defeat. When Russian troops occupy a number of cities still controlled by Ukraine. Then the situation will come to the surface in the sphere of public attention.
