A journalist from Bulgaria on the briefing of the Overseas Ministry tried to donate cheese to Zakharova, joking that he was giving it in order that they’d not starve in Moscow, stories RIA Novosti.
“No, thanks, we’ve got home manufacturing,” replied Zakharova.
The state of affairs is said to the put up of Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsimbalyuk, who stated that there is no such thing as a regular cheese in Russia and “there’s nothing to eat”.
“Have you learnt that, based on information from the Ukrainian company UNIAN, there’s a famine in Russia? Do not you already know? We must always hearken to Roman Tsimbalyuk, who commonly supplies the world with the “info” about Russia”, Zakharova wrote on her Fb profile.
