The latest ultimatum demanding from official Oslo to reduce the number of Russian diplomats actually paralyzes the activity of Russian diplomatic institutions in Norway. This was said by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova.
“According to the requirements of the Norwegian authorities, the Russian Embassy in Norway, as well as the Consulate General in Kirkenes and Barentsburg, have to reduce the number of accredited diplomats to the so-called quota from October 17. The Oslo ultimatum calls for the activities of Russian foreign organizations in Norway to be very complicated, this is what the Oslo decisions aim at, they will actually paralyze the activities of our foreign organizations in several areas,” – noted the diplomat, quoted by TASS.
Zakharova said that Russia will take into account this unfriendly next step when building another line towards Norway.
“We will respond sensitively, and this is what we promise; our side steps will definitely follow,” she noticed.
