A street in the Haush al-Oumara area of Zahle was named after the artist Wael Kfoury, and the Zahle Municipality placed official banners bearing Kfoury’s name on Street 65, Housh al-Oumara, after the Zahle Municipality Council unanimously decided to honor his artistic career and appreciate his efforts in the city by naming the street after him. The Kfoury work team, under the supervision of the Mayor of Zahle, Engineer Asaad Zogheib, is studying how to rehabilitate the street and equip it at all engineering and societal levels.
On the artistic level, Wael is preparing to perform a concert at La Seine Musicale Theater in Paris next October 27, after the success of his concert at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions in the French city of Cannes, especially since he is the first Arab artist to perform on this stage.
Kfoury will meet his fans and present him with the most famous songs that have accompanied generations and continued to achieve spread and success. The “King of Romance” recently released his song “Half Ala El Hob” and it achieved great success.
