“Plasmata II: Ioannina”
ZAGORI Natural Mineral Water is pioneering and supporting the largest interactive digital art event “Plasmata II: Ioannina”, organized by the Onassis Foundation Shelter, from June 16 to July 9, in the historic city of Ioannina. It is an innovative presentation of contemporary art works that explore the boundaries of technology, nature and culture, in a wide range of digital installations, with parallel actions, concerts, workshops, discussions and tours.
The works of Greek and international artists as well as the actions are presented at 29 different stations, along a route along the border of the Castle and the lake of Ioannina. These stations act as “gateways” where the digital and physical worlds meet, with local landmarks and stories showcasing the rich mosaic of Ioannina history and culture. Onassis Foundation’s online radio, Movement Radio, follows the same path, setting the pace with music, live performances, DJ-sets, discussions and interviews.
ZAGORI Natural Mineral Water welcomes with particular pride to the place where it was born, the largest European open-air exhibition of digital art. As a supporter of the “Plasmata II: Ioannina” event and the work of the Onassis Foundation Shelter, he demonstrates his commitment to every initiative that enriches the cultural fabric of the city of Ioannina.
