It was a tough match, the Sosnowiec players managed to draw only in the final minutes after a shot by Patryk Mularczyk. In the first half, Roko Kurtović scored a goal. * Before the match we had a nice official – sports director of Zagłębie Grzegorz Kurdziel presented a commemorative T-shirt of our club to Maks Rozwandowicz. “Maks” is now a player of the reserves of ŁKS=u, and before that he was a player of Zagłębie for 2 years and also the captain of the team.
1′ We’ve started! The Zagłębie starting line-up still lacks the injured Bartosz Boruń. He was replaced, just like in Lubin, by Szymon Zalewski.

After a cross from the right by Å ukasz Uchnast, the ball went to Roko Kurtović, who headed the ball from 11 meters past the goalkeeper of the Łódź reserves. Bravo, we like such beginnings of the match!
13′ The most famous youth player from Łódź, Franciszek Saganowski, decided to shoot from a distance of over 25 meters. The shot by our coach’s son, Marek Saganowski, was, however, very off target.
15′ After a cross from Mateusz Duda, the ball was cleared for a corner by Oliwier Sławiński at the last moment. It’s a pity, because it could have created an interesting situation for Zagłębie.
21′ Szymon Zalewski’s wicked left-footed shot didn’t find the back of the net. The visiting goalkeeper Tomasz Kucharski “spit” the ball out in front of him, but none of our players had a chance to make a successful follow-up shot.

* In the Betclic 2. Liga environment, this match is announced as a family clash of the Saganowskis, i.e. a duel between father and son. Franciszek Saganowski, an 18-year-old offensive defender, came to Å KS II from the second team of Legia Warsaw and his play arouses the appreciation of experts. Franek has his own goals, while his father, leading Zagłębie, has other priorities.
* Łódź have been playing in the 2nd league since the 2023/24 season, when they took 10th place as a newcomer. In the current competition, they started with a confident 3:1 victory over Skra Częstochowa, then a goalless draw with Wisła Puławy, and then a 0:4 loss in Kraków to Wieczysta. In the previous round, coach Konrad Gerega’s team lost narrowly to Chojnczanka Chojnice 0:1.
* Maksymilian Rozwandowicz spent 2 seasons in Sosnowiec (2022/23 and 2023/24), during which he played a total of 68 matches for Zagłębie, scoring 3 goals. Of particular beauty were his goals in the match against Wisła Kraków (in the previous competition) and Ł KS Ł ódź in the 2022/23 season. After the end of the last season, “Rozwan” returned to Łódź, where he found employment in the second team. The former captain of Sosnowiec is now expected to set an example on the pitch when it comes to the young players, of whom there is no shortage in Ł KS II.
