This Monday, at the facilities of the Public Safety Directorate of Roads and Traffic of the municipality of Zacatelco, Mayor Tomás Orea Albarrán He reaffirmed his commitment to the uniformed by giving them pantries, soap packages and vitamins, in order to improve their quality of life.
About 100 items of Public Security, under the command of the director Heriberto López Martínez, received these supports, which have been granted on a monthly basis since the beginning of the current administration.
It should be noted that During the health contingency, help and assistance was provided to the officers, to avoid some type of contagion by Covid-19, which was minimal, in addition to the fact that in recent days a PCR test was performed to detect elements that are asymptomatic and to be able to break the chain of contagion.
In his message, Orea Albarrán highlighted the work carried out by the guardians of order, since, thanks to the support, training and tactical and vehicular equipment, the southern municipality remains one of the safest in the entity.
In recent days we had an international training and they recognized that Zacatelco is among the safest municipalities, and that is thanks to the work, training, discipline, disposition and confidence that the troops have to maintain peace and order in the community. , he asserted.

Educational institutions are monitored
Since the beginning of the pandemic by Covid-19 that led to suspension of classes in educational establishments, the “Safe School” operation was implemented in order to avoid any illegal act inside and outside the facilities.
Total 55 schools are monitored basic level, 6 from upper secondary and two Universities, giving a total of 63 sites monitored day and night, located in the five sections that make up the commune.
Although crime is a national issue, in Zacatelco remains very low the level of criminal incidence, therefore, vigilance will be maintained in all sectors for the benefit of society.
