Virgil (Zac Efron) goes to the desert for work. Driver Keith (Anthony Hayes), who has to take him to the place, stops in the desert because the engine fails. Virgil then discovers a huge boulder of gold, but pulling out of the ground such a large lump of gold is beyond their power.

Keith leaves for the nearest town to provide the necessary equipment. But they are in the middle of a complete wasteland and the nearest town is two days there and two days back. Virgil must be left alone in the middle of the desert. When Keith doesn’t return for a long time, Virgil begins to run out of water and firewood. But most of all, he doesn’t know if anyone is watching him and doesn’t want to deprive him of the treasure.
