Utena’s “Uniclub Casino – Juventus” has started the assembly work – the 202 cm tall striker returns to the team after a year’s break Žygymantas Skučas.
The club signed a one-year contract with the basketball player.
In the last season, Ž. Skučas wore the shirt of Pasvalis “Pieno szvejdažiai” and in the “Betsafe-LKL” championship he scored 11.8 points per average of 29 minutes spent on the field (48.9% of two-pointers, 32.8% of three-pointers, 78.7% . penalties), rebounded 4.4 balls, made 1.7 assists and collected 9.8 utility points.

And in basketball, this is already a lot. I think that he is already formed and ready to play basketball at the highest level,” Žydrūnas Urbonas, sports director of Uniclub Casino – Juventus, said about the basketball player returning to Utena.
Ž.Skučas previously defended the honor of the Utena team for two seasons (2019-2020 and 2020-2021).
In the 2020-2021 season, while defending the honor of the Utena club in the “Betsafe-LKL” championship, Ž. Skučas scored 12.2 points in an average of 24 minutes spent on the court (58.2 percent of two-pointers, 42.9 percent of three-pointers, 71.8 percent of penalties), rebounded 4 balls each and collected 12.4 utility points.
In addition to Ž.Skučas, Martynas Gecevičius and Ernestas Sederevičius have contracts with Uniclub Casino – Juventus club. The team will be coached by Donald Kairys.
