At Amsterdam Diner, Yvonne was approached by Robert. “I suddenly feel an energy coming on the other side of the table, so I look and someone says to me, ‘Hi Yvonne!’ Who do you think it is?! Robert ten Brink! So I said, “Robert, hey!” I thought: I want to die!” said Yvonne in her Instagram Stories.
The two then had a conversation about the dozens of messages that Yvonne has shared with the outside world. According to Yvonne, Robert said that everyone spoke to him about it. “It’s so intense what your platform does,” the presenter would have said.

All in all, Yvonne thought that Robert handled the situation in a sporting manner. “Because he also said: ‘I really like what you do.’ Then of course I felt completely guilty and stuff. I really thought: I will never go to such an event again. It really makes no sense, because this is really not what I should have.”
Yvonne herself had a positive experience of her confrontation with Robert. She thinks he’s a nice man. “But I think it is somewhat correct what I have received, but that it is not always the case. Of course that applies to everything and everyone I juice about. They are also snapshots, but Robert is just someone who already has been in the profession for so long. He then gets completely carried away and that is just the way it is.”
