Yvonne Coldeweijer, the woman behind the juice channel Life of Yvonne, earned tens of thousands of euros for a while with her Telegram channel where she shared the so-called juice of famous Dutch people. However, her money didn’t make her happy, as the 36-year-old gossip vlogger found the subscription model “very unpleasant”.
Coldeweijer’s followers could subscribe to his Telegram channel for ten euros a month. “At one point I made 40,000 euros a month with that. Strange, isn’t it,” Coldeweijer writes on Instagram. “But I tell you in all honesty. Making money is nice, but a very quiet and relaxed life is more fun.”
Coldeweijer got “jittery” from the subscription model. “Constant pressure to deliver content. Day and night. You are never done in your head. I find it very unpleasant to go through life like this. Money is not that important to me. Freedom and a cold life lead.” The only Source of income Coldeweijer says he now has is selling clothing from his shop. “So if you buy a sweater from me, know that you will always keep my juice channel active.”
Coldeweijer has now launched a crowdfunding campaign for the summary proceedings Rachel Hazes has filed against her. Hazes wants Coldeweijer to take a video offline of her making claims about Hazes and her son. Coldeweijer started crowdfunding to pay the lawyer’s fees.
