The music show “The Voice of Germany” is back with season 14. The broadcast dates have changed as usual Sat.1 and ProSieben divided. The broadcast in the stream takes place one week before the TV broadcast. In “The Voice of Germany” four professional musicians act as coaches and judges in the show. During the blind auditions they select the talents they consider to be the most promising. You can only judge the candidates by hearing, as they sit in a red chair facing away from the stage. If a performance is convincing, the judges press their buzzer, whereupon the chair rotates and they can see the talent’s face.
As soon as at least one coach has turned around, the talent moves forward one round and is assigned to a coach team. If several jury members show interest, the talent can decide which coach the show should continue with. In the following rounds, the coach actively supports the talent and works on their musical skills. The show also includes the so-called battles, in which the talents have to convince their coaches of their skills again. As the show progresses, the coaches increasingly have to eliminate talent from their team.
