– Evan Fournier and the New York Knicks went to win in Washington, with 14 points for the French at 3/9, with a clear cut on the throw line (6/6). The scorer of the Blues was then quietly able to tune in to the Tyson Fury – Deontay Wilder fight, with undoubtedly something to inspire in terms of fighting spirit for his first season with the Knicks.

Washington rookies were able to start looking for automatisms in a match. Montrezl Harrell finished in double-double (18 pts, 10 rebounds in 22 min) and Spencer Dinwiddie had a good activity (13 pts, 4 pds, 4 rbds). For Kyle Kuzma, it was a bit more complicated (4 points to 0/4 to 3 points) offensively.
– The 22 points of Fred VanVleet and the double-double of Precious Achiuwa (13 pts, 13 rebounds, 3 stls) did not prevent Toronto from losing on the floor of Boston. Back at the Celtics, Al Horford finds his bearings well. The veteran scored 16 points and placed 2 blocks in 24 minutes. His snowshoe partner, Robert “Time Lord” Williams, didn’t take a single shot in 20 minutes, but found a way to finish with a +22 differential.
Jayson Tatum continues to warm up with his new biscottos: 20 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the Olympic champion, while waiting for his comrade Jaylen Brown to return from the Covid.

It is Juancho Hernangomez who folded the deal for the Celtics by turning his two free throws with 7 seconds remaining. Among the satisfactions on the Boston side, we can again cite Romeo Langford, holder, and author of 13 points at 5/6 in 19 minutes. It may well be the hatch year for him.

– Sharife Cooper was the most prominent money time player between Atlanta and Memphis. The Hawks rookie has found himself in all the right places for his team to gain the upper hand. On the only 4th quarter, Cooper compiled 9 points (including the last basket of his team at 3 points), 3 assists and 1 against, with the help of the sophomore Skylar Mays.

Opposite, the French Yves Pons was entitled to 20 minutes off the bench, during which he took 7 rebounds and managed 1 against, but not the least! The former INSEP and Tennessee University sent heavy weight on this block, as practically every time he tastes the ground.
