In the wake of many cities in the Yvelines, the mayor of the new commune Saint-Germain-en-Laye took the decision to extend the wearing of the mask beyond the places covered by the order of the Prefect taken on Friday August 14, namely the « outdoor markets, flea markets and garage sales ».

From 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. from August 25

Thus, from August 25, it will also have to be worn in many streets included in the sectors of centre and thehypercenter, from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.

“Ensuring serene traffic in our streets”

Arnaud Pericard, explains wanting, among other things, to limit the circulation of Covid-19.

“I made the decision to make it compulsory to wear a mask in certain public spaces in our new town in order to limit the circulation of the virus in the city and to ensure serene traffic in our streets. “

In place until October 30, the measure concerns all people aged 11 and over.

The sectors concerned

– In the bus stations of rue de la Surintendance, Thiers and Malraux.

– In the squares: Abbot of Porcaro, André Malraux, Charles de Gaulle, de la Victoire, du Marché, Mareil, Saint-Pierre and de la Grille (Fourqueux).

– Streets: à la Farine, de l’Aigle d’Or, André Bonnenfant, au Pain, de l’Aurore (partially), des Bons Enfants, des Coches, Collignon, Danes de Montardat (partially), Ducastel, des Écuyers ( partially), Gast, des Jouies, Louviers, Paris, Poissy, Poland, the Procession, the Republic (partially), the Salle, Saint Pierre, the Vieil Abreuvoir, the Old Butchers, and the Old Market.
