The museum of national archaeology of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) reopens its doors to the public Wednesday, June 24, from 10 a.m.. Visitors are greeted with a reservation, in respect of sanitary measures. Wearing a mask is mandatory (from 11 years).
The opportunity to discover the new route Masterpieces and curiosities, with collections from Prehistory up to the celtic Gaul accessible in the free tour at discounted rate with a rating renewed.
Program of visits and conferences
Of visits and conferences are programmed (from 13 years) on different themes : the collection Édouard Piette (treasures of the Paleolithic period), the history of the castle, the architecture of the castle and the garden, the collections of the Paleolithic-mesolithic, Neolithic and bronze age, iron ages…
The public will also have the opportunity to visit the roofs of the castlein the company of the director who will provide comments.
In the framework of the cultural summer, it will be proposed from the month of July, upon reservation, of the participatory workshops of discovery and experimental archaeology for children from 4 years of age (free of charge).
