After a few days of vacation and stress, the long awaited day has arrived. This Tuesday, July 6, 2021, was the day of the results of the 2021 baccalaureate.
In 2020, 68,185 candidates were able to take the baccalaureate at the Versailles Academy, 57.8% in the general series, 20.2% in the technological series and 22.0% in the professional path (-800 candidates compared to to 2019)
A 99% success rate in 2020!
That year, the overall success rate was exceptionally high (95.2%), ie 9.0 points higher than that observed in 2019. In Yvelines, this rate reached 99%!
This Tuesday, for the high school students, it was the moment of the issue, or the return to work for the catch-up, which will take place in a few days. The wait in front of the school is undoubtedly the most stressful moment for Maëlys: “I have the impression of stressing more now than during the bac! ”
At 10 a.m. sharp, the doors of the Saint-Érembert general and technological high school in Saint Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines) opened and the crowd of high school students, in a hurry to have their results, rushed towards the billboards. .
Everyone was looking for their name on the lists. The most impatient of them looked directly on the internet. Then it was the explosion of joy… for most of them: “I got it very well! You could hear.
A lighter 2021 baccalaureate
For the second year in a row, the baccalaureate was reduced, due to the health crisis and the equality of teaching. More emphasis has been placed on continuous monitoring.
Only the philosophy test and the grand oral took place face to face. This arrangement had two different effects on the final year students.
“I felt much more relaxed for the philosophy test knowing that I already had my baccalaureate thanks to the continuous checks.”
Alexandre did not have good results during the year and relied a lot on the two tests at the end of terminal: “I bet everything on the grand oral to get my baccalaureate. “
