Blogger Yuri Dud commented on the sharp deterioration in the health of opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who has been in a coma for the second day.
“For almost two days now, there is no thing that I would like more than the recovery of Alexei Navalny. For Alexei, his courageous wife Yulia and all his relatives – patience and strength,” the interviewer wrote in Instagram.
On Thursday morning, Navalny felt bad on board the plane, which was flying from Tomsk to Moscow. He soon lost consciousness. The liner urgently sat down in Omsk, Navalny was taken to the intensive care unit and connected to artificial ventilation. Later there were reports that he fell into a coma.
By Friday evening, his condition had stabilized and it became possible to transport him to another hospital. It is expected that Navalny will be sent to a clinic in Germany on Saturday morning.
