Yunus Aktas wins prize of the jury and audience of the Cameretten cabaret festival | Media and culture

Yunus Aktas won the 56th Cameretten Festival on Saturday. The comedian won both the jury prize and the audience prize of the cabaret festival at the Koninklijke Schouwburg in The Hague.

“Yunus plays the underdog, the loser in his show. According to the judging panel, he does it with verve. His style is hypothermic, he seems relaxed and completely in control,” says the jury about the winner.

“He has a great sense of timing. His lines are spot on and surprisingly spot on. The judging panel sees that Yunus has experience as a stand-up comedian; he is skilled and good. is fantastic.”

The other finalists of Cameretten Festival 2022 were the brothers Joey & Dave and Selma Visscher, who grew up in Groningen. The three finalists can be seen on the extensive finalists tour which kicks off December 2 with performances in nearly sixty locations.
