Yuki Tsunoda released the design of the new F1 helmet for 2023 on social media, saying, “I will fight with this helmet this year!” The helmet has a Japanese taste with a maple design on a white background. Illustration of “Wind God” on the back. Regarding this design, Yuki Tsunoda said, “On the back of the helmet, there is a picture drawn by a Japanese designer. It is a picture of the wind god. Downforce is very important, and it is related to the wind, so I thought it would be nice to add it in the back,” he explains. “I thought it would be cool to add a wind god to the helmet to increase downforce! It’s like a little talisman.”
