Yuji Naka, creator of Sonic and Balan Wonderworld, is now making smartphone games

One of the most disappointing releases of 2021 was Balan wonders of the world – from Sonic the Hedgehog Creator, Yuji Naka.

This title should have potential trigger epileptic seizures, accused of being Lagu Ghostbusters “Knock-off”, and at the end of the game sale fail massively. Naka broke up with Square Enix shortly after its release and mentioned how things were going in June thinking about retirement.

However, it looks like it’s not finished yet. Become one twitter message Naka thanked fans for the birthday messages he recently received and revealed how he is now teaching himself to program simple games for smartphones. Here is the full message:

“Thank you for your birthday message. I’ve recently started learning programs again and I’m making simple games for smartphones with Unity. It’s not a big deal because one person did it, but programming for games is fun. I hope you can play this app.”
