Yssingeaux: an industrial accident at the technical services of the town hall

Monday, around 4 p.m., help was requested following an industrial accident within the technical services of the City of Yssingeaux, in the Guide area.

A municipal employee injured his hand.

The victim was in the technical services workshop and was storing a hedge trimmer. For that, he had to remove a guide cover which got stuck. In order to remove it, he tapped to remove it and slashed his wrist.

The municipal employee was transported to the Puy-en-Velay hospital for examinations before a possible reorientation to a hand clinic in Lyon or Clermont-Ferrand.
