YPF’s share in New York opens 10% higher.

YPF shares in New York opened 10% higher after the announcement of the Maxus deal, reaching US$12.30 per share.

Meanwhile, in the last year, YPF’s share accumulated growth of 130%, which meant an advance from US$5 in April 2022 to the current US$12 per share.

Last week YPF announced that it reached an agreement for the Maxus case in the United States, which will make it possible to dismiss all the actions initiated against the Argentine oil company and against Repsol and will grant a full release and discharge of claims made by the Maxus Settlement Trust for up to $14 billion.

YPF and Repsol agree to pay the Trust US$ 287.5 million eachfor a total of US$575 million, without either of them admitting any responsibility.
