YouTuber ‘reviews’ Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 + like it’s nothing

Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S21+, won’t be out for a month or more, but that won’t stop this guest from posting a review about it. The YouTube channel Random Stuff 2 posted a five-minute review of the unannounced phone, without sounding very surprised.

High Quality

Most of the time, these kinds of early leaks just give us a brief glimpse of the phone, usually in very poor light photos. But this “unofficial review” like Random Stuff 2 it calls, let us see the device clearly from all sides in broad daylight. We are even treated to a short game session and numerous tests of the cameras.

First look

In the video, we clearly see the near-borderless design with a punch-hole selfie camera in the center of the screen, as well as the three cameras on the back of the device.

Obviously it is still a pre-production machine, with tape over some parts and software that is not quite finished. Yet everything seems to be going very smoothly; the man holding the phone in the video appears to be impressed, saying it will likely be the “best phone of 2021”. He even has another one video posted with some benchmarks, indicating that the new Galaxy S21 + is faster than most phones out there.

Rumors

We’ll hold our verdict until the phone is officially out, but it’s certainly cool to see the device in great detail before launch. Also, there’s a possibility that the phone in the video isn’t quite the new Samsung, but the video certainly seems pretty convincing.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 + is rumored to come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, 8GB RAM, 128 / 256GB storage, and a 64/12/12-megapixel camera setup. The device will probably be launched in January, but without an adapter …
