Jimmy Donaldson, better known as YouTuber MrBeast, wants to sue the company behind his own fast food restaurant. The 25-year-old American no longer wants to link his name to the restaurant, which would serve “repulsive” food.

Donaldson is suing Virtual Dining Concepts in New York because his restaurant MrBeast Burger allegedly delivered a substandard product, reports the BBC. He asks the judge to terminate his agreement with the company.

The YouTuber’s fast food chain, which has 172 million subscribers, started as a virtual delivery restaurant in 2020. Later, the restaurant opened its own location where people could eat.

According to the lawsuit, Donaldson accuses the company of failing to meet agreements about the quality of its food. He even calls the burgers “inedible”. “MrBeast Burger is a misleading, poor representation of the MrBeast brand,” the documents read. The YouTuber speaks of “irreparable damage to his brand and reputation”.

Donaldson further claims that he himself did not receive a penny for the collaboration. The YouTuber previously apologized after followers complained about the restaurant’s substandard food. He then indicated that he could not get out of the contract.

MrBeast, the most subscribed person on YouTube, made his breakthrough with videos of him performing stunts. Since his breakthrough, he has been making videos in which contestants compete for large amounts of prize money.
