“This is news you don’t really want to share, but unfortunately it is reality,” Dee begins. 2021 would be the year we would become parents. You know the risks, you know that it doesn’t all have to happen by itself, but you never expect this. Last year we had three miscarriages, including one ectopic pregnancy.’

Dee and her boyfriend Lars kept the news a secret “assuming it would be good news ‘next time'”. “Now, three miscarriages later, we have decided to share this sad news with you. On the one hand because I notice that I can no longer hold up a mask, on the other because I know that we are not the only ones going through this and we want to break the culture of silence that hangs here.’
