The story of Rex, a puppy who was left quadriplegic after an accident, has moved millions of users on YouTube. This platform was used to broadcast a video that shows how its owners manage to take it for a walk.
The dog used to live on the streets of Brazil, so he was exposed to the danger of not having a home. In December 2020, he was hit by a vehicle and he hit the road. The dog was left alone and with several wounds on its body.
It was thanks to a group of rescuers that this puppy he could be taken to a doctor for care. The car hit had left him with quadriplegia. His legs did not respond anymore and someone had to take care of his treatment.
The shelter that temporarily took him in shared Rex’s story on their social networks and help did not take long to appear. Several users sympathized with this defenseless little dog and gave him financial support.
A long process of rehabilitation began and the improvement began to be evident. On social media, the family that adopted him shares photos and videos of the state of Rex. Although he cannot walk, he does not give up.
