An NFT can be anything. “It can be any form of digital media,” explains Thomas. “Videos, digital artworks, but also just posts on social media, such as the very first tweet from Twitter founder Jack Dorsey. It sold for 2 million euros, for example.”
It is therefore possible that digital museums will emerge later for such a collector of the first tweets. Or that an artist can exhibit their digital artworks through NFTs.
What is also handy about NFTs is that in such a digital museum you can admire those works of art from all over the world. But investing in videos, Thomas still has his doubts about that. “Buying movies is actually new and to do that for so much money is actually a bit crazy.”
