YouTube on Tuesday removed the official channels KellyTV and RKellyVevo, both related to American singer Robert Kelly, just days after he was convicted of extortion in a sex trafficking case.

“We can confirm that we have canceled two channels linked to R. Kelly in accordance with our creator responsibility guidelines,” said a spokesperson for the video platform told Reuters.

Despite this, the music of the interpreter of ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ will continue to be available on YouTube Music.

After decades of indictments, R. Kelly was brought to trial on 14 counts that included sexual exploitation of minors, kidnapping, bribery and charges of sex trafficking. On September 27, a New York jury found him guilty of extortion in a sex trafficking case that included the sexual recruitment and abuse of women and children, for which he could receive a prison sentence of several decades.
