In a tweet, Anthony Pompliano said that it happened during a YouTube live stream when Pompliano was discussing the evolution of Bitcoin with popular crypto analyst PlanB. Pompliano then posted screenshots of two emails he received from YouTube.

One of them points out that the interviews and Bitcoin content posted on the Pompliano channel contribute to illegal activities and violate YouTube rules. The service said that if that material appears again on the channel, Pompliano will not be able to post videos and go on the air for a week.

Shortly after this notice, Pompliano received a second message from YouTube, which already mentioned the cancellation of the channel. A few hours later, the cryptocurrency enthusiast announced that his YouTube channel has been restored and that all his videos on Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency industry are available again. However, YouTube has not yet explained the situation.
