THERE IS good news for users YouTube Music non-premium. Reportedly the company will release one of their premium features for all users to use.
YouTube announced that starting November 3, users will be able to play songs in the background so the music won’t stop when opening other apps or when the screen is turned off.
But unfortunately the release of this feature is only available for the first time in Canada. It is possible that YouTube will expand this feature to other regions, as quoted from The Verge, Sunday (10/10/2021)
When asked about the presence of this feature in other countries, YouTube simply replied, “Please wait for further information and expansion plans from us.”
Playing songs in the background is a feature that many of YouTube Music’s competitors have provided, including Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora and others. So about this feature, Facebook can be called lagging behind other applications.
