Evan Era is a Jewish American rapper and entertainer born Evan Rosenman in Louisville. His passion for music started at an early age, with early influences in the form of classical music such as Johann Strauss, and southern sounds from Creedence Clearwater Revival and Johnny Cash, among others. His older sister Sasha also had a great influence on his early musical taste; together they listened to modern artists such as Sublime, Beastie Boys, Limp Bizkit, Green Day and Adam Sandler.
Evan’s passion for hip-hop music started a little later, when Evan discovered West Coast rapper Too $ hort’s album ‘Shorty The Pimp’. Rappers such as 2Pac, The Notorious BIG, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Three 6 Mafia and Eminem also formed the basis of Evan’s love for rap music.
With a career as a YouTube magician, in which he collected more than 2 million followers, Evan has already built up a considerable audience. That audience is a good start for Era’s new career, and ‘New Era’ is Evan’s first single to be released now. January 1, 2021 was the day that Evans finally gave shape to his steps in music with ‘New Era’.
