DTP/BMR for 9 year olds

HPV for 10-year-olds

MenACWY for 14 year olds
All children receive an invitation for the MenACWY vaccination in the year they turn 14. This is their second jab against meningococcal disease. The first have children when they are 14 months old. Read more on Meningococcal disease – GGD Drenthe
Why a second vaccination?
Sometimes a second vaccination is necessary to maintain sufficient protection against a disease. That is why we always advise to take this second vaccination as well.
It’s the prick
Usually side effects are not serious. For example, your child may develop a mild fever or a red, swollen spot where the shot was given. Side effects usually go away on their own within a few days. Serious side effects are very rare.
