She referred to specific events, but in reality they are a generalized evil of a good part of our youth, among those actions that are known is the appearance of a group of young people armed with sticks and stones on the national highway, in the section of the municipality of Ciénaga, Magdalena, who extort or rob everyone who passes by; there is also the challenge to the death of young people under the rain in a popular neighborhood of Barranquilla; In the same way, in Valledupar, the confrontations between the soccer clubs called ‘Solovalle’ and other groups of adolescents who have faced each other with knives in the surroundings of the Hurtado spa and many other criminal acts in different sectors of the Cesarean capital.
The situation that this lady exposes deserves an analysis and a deep reflection on the basis of the following question that she herself asks us: what awaits our society in the immediate future if the majority of our youth falls into this violent tendency?
But in addition to making a value judgment on the behavior of this type of young people, it is also necessary to study and analyze the causes and origin of the problem in order to achieve an approximation to the reality of the matter.
It is true that today’s youth tends to obey group tendencies, regardless of whether these are good or not so healthy, being more fragile those young people who have too much free time, leisure time, but also with a large number of unsatisfied needs and zero study opportunities, any type of training or training for life. Those become easy prey for those dangerous instincts.
For all these reasons, the institutionality must focus a little more on our youth, these facts are convincing proof of the deficiency of the State in the training of our young people and accompaniment to the heads of households to forge good citizens, under the understanding that the family is the main foundation of society.
What has been raised here, thanks to the concern of a mother of a family, who almost scoldingly and begging us, asked us to touch on the subject, are just little pills of a social problem that now, in times of electoral campaigns, should be reviewed and proposed fundamental solutions, because a good future will depend to a large extent on the level of training of the current generations of young people.
