Next Saturday, September 14th, there is another competition round for our youth teams on the program. With as Match of the week: FC Emmen O11 – PSV O11.
FC Emmen O21 plays at home for the first time in Division 3 on Saturday. After two away games, which yielded three points, FC Dordrecht O21 will visit. The team of trainer Marc Hegeman wants to recover after the unnecessary 2-1 defeat last weekend in Maastricht at MVV O21. Opponent FC Dordrecht O21, which is trained by former professional Rick Hoogendorp, started the competition with three points from two games, just like FC Emmen O21. After a 0-1 defeat against SC Heerenveen O21, Quick Boys O21 was defeated 3-1 last Saturday. The match at De Oude Meerdijk starts at 14:00 and is freely accessible via the entrance at the away section.
For FC Emmen O19 there is no competition match scheduled for this coming weekend. This is due to an odd number of teams in Division 4. Last Tuesday evening there was a practice match against FC Groningen O19. And with success, the match was won 2-1.
FC Emmen O17 receives LAC Frisia 1883 O17 from Leeuwarden on Saturday. The team of trainer Jordan Poeste is still waiting for the first points of the season after the defeat against Buitenboys O17. The Frisians have already played two matches and have three points after a 3-0 victory over SML O17. The match will be played at vv Emmen and starts at 12:00.
FC Emmen O15 is still flawless after two matches and will visit Quick’20 O15 on Saturday. The team of trainer Jeroen Dijkstra must guard against the vanguard of the Tukkers, because last Saturday they won 0-10 against Bon Boys O15. Kick-off in Oldenzaal is at 13:00.
FC Emmen O14 can prepare for the first away match of the season. After winning the cup match against Spijkenisse O14, the team of trainer Harold Wekema also won on home ground against VVOG O14 and Roda’46 O14. On Saturday, the Emmen team will travel to Gelderland for the away match against Bennekom O14, which also has six points. The match in the village of the same name starts at 11:30.
FC Emmen O13 plays an away match against Go Ahead Eagles O13 on Saturday. The boys of trainer Albert Jan van Oosten want to take revenge for the heavy defeat against De Graafschap O13 last weekend. That will have to happen in Twello. Opponent Go Ahead Eagles is still without points after defeats against FC Groningen O13 and FC Twente/Heracles O13, while FC Emmen O13 already has three points. Kick-off at Sportpark Zuiderlaan is at 10:30.
FC Emmen U12 in FC Emmen O11 play in the National Twin Games competition. Both teams play at home. The Under-12 will receive PEC Zwolle O12 at 10:00 (location vv Emmen). FC Emmen O11 has a nice poster on the program on Saturday. Our youngest youth team will receive PSV O11. This will take place at 10:00 in the stadium.
