The Olympiakos Youth team continues to make history: Today, with an excellent performance, they defeated Bayern 3-1 in Munich and qualified for the Final-4 of the UEFA Youth League, which will be held in Nyon. The opponent of the red and whites will be the winner from the pair Nantes – Copenhagen.
Olympiacos scored three goals in 8 minutes in the first half and basically “cleared” the case of qualification. At 32′ Mouzakitis opened the scoring and at 37′ Papakanellos made it 0-2 with a beautiful goal. The visitors “struck” for the third time in the 40′ with the scorer being H. Kostoula.
At the end of the first half, tension arose and the referee sent off the coach of the Olympiakos Youth team, Sotiris Syllaidopoulos.
Bayern went down to 3-1 in the 63rd minute with Ramsak, but the Greek team held on and got the big qualification.
