“If everything goes well, the Juzze should be reopened in June.” That’s what Lingenfeld Mayor Markus Kropfreiter (SPD) said. The youth center at Hirschgraben was badly damaged in a fire last April and has been renovated for a few months. According to Kropfreiter, the wood paneling on one side, parts of the roof, the electrical system and the floor need to be replaced. The renovation takes some time because the appraiser hired by the insurance company has to check and approve every order for the work. Kropfreiter was unable to quantify how much the renovation would cost in total. Insurance will cover the amount. According to the Lingenfeld mayor, the cause of the fire was not found.
