Screenwriter Angie Alaa announced her separation from her husband, artist Youssef El Sharif.

Angie wrote, through her official account on the “x” website: “God destined and did what He willed.. We regret to announce that we, Angie Alaa and Youssef El-Sherif, have officially separated between us, with an emphasis on the continuation of the relationship of friendship, pride, and mutual respect, in appreciation of the good ten years that brought us together and to our most beautiful children.” A blessing that God has bestowed upon us.”

She added: “Prayers, may God grant us what is good.. I bear witness to God, Youssef, that throughout the period of our marriage I have not seen anything but goodness from you, and may God grant you success in what is to come.. Praise be to God for everything.”

On the other hand, Engy Alaa is collaborating in the series “The Raccoon” with her husband, the artist Youssef El Sharif, and this is the first collaboration with director Mohamed Gamal El Adl.

The “Racoon” series is the third collaboration between the artist Youssef El-Sherif and his wife Angie Alaa, after their previous success with the “Satan’s Game” series, which was shown during the Ramadan drama season in 2015, and the “Covid 25” series, which was shown during the 2021 Ramadan season.
