And she added that Imam is in good health and is fine, pointing out that she is in constant contact with his brother, producer Issam Imam.
Yousra confirmed in her conversation with Sayed Ali: “Adel Imam is like Al-Fal, and I am in constant contact with his brother Issam Imam.”
And she continued: “He is well and lives among his children and grandchildren.
Canceling the movie project “Al-Wad and His Father” by Adel Imam
This coincided with Yusra’s statements, confirming news of the cancellation of the movie “Al-Wad and His Father” by Adel Imam, which increased the controversy about his health condition, which appears to be already deteriorating as he cannot film in any new works.
Despite the Egyptian producer, Essam Imam, announcing work on preparations for the film “Al-Wad and His Father”, which was to bring his brother, artist Adel Imam, back to the cinema after years of absence, the project was cancelled.
This came according to what was reported by a source close to the producer, Issam Imam, to the website.The New Arab“, Tuesday.
The source said that the film will not come to light because the health condition of the artist, Adel Imam, does not allow him to film for long hours, especially with his advanced age (82 years).
The source added that the film was completely canceled, surprising that there was still talk about it, noting that it was initially agreed to postpone it before it was decided to cancel it.
The source also denied the possibility that another actor, other than Adel Imam, would film the work, because the project remained in its early stages.
Adel Imam raised doubts among followers about his health, especially after he had moved away from dramas since 2020.
And the series “Valentino” in 2020 is considered his last work, and since then he has not appeared in any of the artworks.
