Chicken is very popular for its high protein content and very low fat content. It is suitable for subsequent diets, but also as a delicacy that, properly prepared, will satisfy many palates. It is also very light and highly digestible. Thanks to the content of vitamins B6, B5 and B3, magnesium, calcium, iron and other minerals, it can have a beneficial effect on our body.

Conservation methods

If you want your chicken to last as long as possible and at the same time get the most benefits for your health, you can choose between different preservation methods. Meat drying is becoming more and more popular. When prepared correctly, it retains its delicious taste and can also be used as a protein snack when hungry. You can also load the meat into jars and store it. Such meat lasts a long time and is ready for immediate use.

Dry your candy

Dried meat requires careful preparation. It is important to think about which spice is the most popular for you. Cut about one kilogram of meat into thin slices. It is best to do this immediately after taking it out of the freezer, where you left it for about half an hour. You will need a very sharp knife.

Press 2 to 3 cloves of garlic into a sturdy bag, add 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, pepper, salt and your favorite herbs. Place the meat in the bag, seal and shake. Leave to marinate overnight and bake, first at 80 degrees for about 10 minutes to kill bacteria. Then reduce to 55 degrees and dry for about 10 hours. Once the meat begins to crack, it is properly dried. Store in an airtight container.

Pickled chicken

To marinate the chicken, prepare 4 diced onions, a bunch of parsley, fresh pepper cut into strips, 4 tablespoons of vinegar, salt, ground paprika and pepper. This amount is ideal for 4 kilograms of meat.

Cut the whole chicken into smaller pieces, dry it thoroughly with a paper towel, but do not wash it. Put the spices in the bowl along with the meat and mix. After covering all the parts, pour in the vinegar and let it rest. Put the vegetables in the jars and add the meat so that everything is well stuffed. Garnish with the leftover vegetables.

Finally, boil everything in a large pot, put a cloth on the bottom of the water. Close the pot with the lid. Let the water boil for about five hours. Then take out the jars, lower the lids and let them cool. After cooling, store in a cool, dark place.
