Young women trapped in a horror ship: German trailer for the tough survival thriller “Flycatcher” – Cinema News

In “Flycatcher – Survival Has Its Price”, a fun trip to the beach turns into a nightmare in the blink of an eye, which could prove fatal for the protagonists. Here you can see the trailer for the thriller, which will soon be in home cinemas:

The direction and screenplay are by Phil Volken, who already entertained us a few years ago with “Blackmail – How Much Is Your Family Worth?”, set against a similarly beautiful holiday backdrop.

Volken cast the main roles in “Flycatcher – Survival Has Its Price” with Isabel Gravitt from “Cucuy: The Boogeyman”, Genneya Walton (“Darby And The Dead”) and Alexander Wraith from Oliver Stone’s “Savages”. Other important roles include Garrett Wareing from the Netflix hit series “Manifest”, newcomer Koa Tom and Dean Cameron (“They Came From Outer Space”).

“Flycatcher”: This is the story

Kaya (Gravitt) actually has a lot of important things to do. Nevertheless, she is only too happy to let her best friend persuade her to take a trip to the sea. Tessa (Walton) has just met Julian (Wareing) and Xander (Tom) – proud owners of two tuned jet skis. Of course, Tessa doesn’t hide from her friend the fact that the duo also look damn good.

At first, the quartet has a lot of fun. But then an accident occurs in which two of them are injured and their motorized vehicles are destroyed. They swim helplessly around the open sea and are already surrounded by sharks that smell the blood in the water.

A fishing boat passes by and the relieved young people are pulled on board by Rey (Wraith). But it doesn’t take long before the taciturn captain shows his true face: he violently incapacitates Julian and Xander, drugs Tessa and Kaya and locks them in the hold of his boat – apparently he plans to sell them to a human trafficker (Cameron) …
