Encrypted investment scams through resume platforms

Later, the Hong Kong investment man kept persuading Lin Nv, falsely claiming that he had the inside information on the rise and fall of certain virtual currencies, and could teach Lin Nv Gao how to make profits without losing money, and asked Lin Nv to borrow money to invest by herself.
Under the guidance of a very enthusiastic professor from Hong Kong, Mr. Lin first used the Binance Exchange to buy USDT, and then transferred the USDT to a centralized exchange that claimed to have a higher rate of return than Binance. The customer service of the fake exchange even privately used Line Contact Lin Nv and instruct Lin Nv to transfer USDT to an unknown wallet address.
From January to March this year, Ms. Lin transferred a total of NT$2.7 million, or about 90,000 USDT, until she wanted to get back the USDT, but was asked by the customer service of the fake exchange to remit the tax, and she was surprised to be cheated.
Facebook strikes up a conversation, but it’s a scam wolf
The Criminal Bureau cited another case of emotional fraud involving a woman this year. A Taiwanese female netizen was approached by an unknown man on Facebook in February. emotional basis.
The unidentified man’s statement in the above case guaranteed that he had a way to invest in virtual currency to make a steady profit without losing money, and encouraged the victim woman to remit the original ETH and USDT to the fake exchange “PLUBIT EX Investment Platform” for one month. Inside, the woman invested a total of 1.8 million Taiwan dollars, which was exchanged for about 60,000 USDT, and did not call the police until she could not withdraw the money.
