Young Woman Found Dead in Elverum: Police Seize Murder Weapon

A 30-year-old woman was found dead in Elverum on Tuesday night. The police write this in a press release.

– On Monday evening at 21.49, the police received a report from a relative of the woman that
the woman had gone missing in connection with a visit to the hospital, Police Inspector Henning Klauseie states in the press release.

He further says that several patrols moved out and took part in the search for the woman.

– A car with two people was found last night. The woman was pronounced dead on the spot, while the man was flown to Oslo University Hospital for treatment, says Klauseie.

The next of kin have been notified.

The extent of the damage to the man in his 30s, who is now charged, is not yet known.

According to the police, both the woman and the man have residential addresses in Oslo.

The police have seized what is probably the murder weapon, the press release states.

There is a large area close to the hospital in Elverum that is blocked off.

The police reported the incident at X at 02.50 on Tuesday night. Then they did not want to say anything about what the incident was about.

Now they are announcing that a press conference will be held at 10.30 on Tuesday.
