At the venerable Ostbahn FC masonry. The Uhlig team was warned against an “emotional team”: “They usually stand very low and play unpleasantly.” Compared to the 1-1 draw at Elektra, the coach made slight adjustments: Mikolaj Sawicki replaced Derby goalscorer Julian Roider, at the forefront Romeo Mörth and Konsti Aleksa started at the front instead of Philipp Hosiner and Nemo Bajraktarevic.
Austrians take the lead
The Violets took no prisoners, took command from the start against the deep home team and rewarded themselves with the lead after a quarter of an hour: Nisandzic with the exemplary pass to Aleksa, who made Kerime look old and served the Austrian in the middle, who thought the ball over long corner (13th). After the lead, the violet phase of dominance subsided, the guests let their opponents have their way, but apart from a Najdovski header (15th), they were hardly dangerous. A low shot from Romeo Mörth went past the goal (20th), on the other hand Überbacher defused a Kerime shot (23rd) and – after corner – an Alhassan header (30th). The further the first half progressed, the more the Naumoski team managed to conquer. A Sahintürk attempt from 30 meters went over the goal, a powerful shot from the same shot was caught by Überbacher (45th).
Turbulent second round
The first quarter of an hour after the break was hard to beat in terms of turbulence. Mauerwerk stayed on the trigger even after the restart and formally announced the equalizer: first Osaro missed a poisonous Batuta cross (50th), then Überbacher was there at Najdovski Corner. The violet goalie was ultimately powerless against Alhassan’s goal (52nd). Uhlig reacted, brought fresh offensive power with Rodier and Bajraktarevic and was promptly rewarded for his talent: Bajraktarevic skilfully powered his way through, his blocked shot fell at the feet of Konsti Aleksa, who took the lead again with a half-volley into the top corner (55th).
Masonry weakens itself
Shortly afterwards, Mauerwerk weakened itself and referee Stauber sent Batuta into the shower with yellow/red after a midfield foul. The home team remained a nuisance and, despite being outnumbered, did not give up: Ljamchevski failed to get the ball into Überbacher’s box after a poke (68′), Sahintürk spoiled what was probably the best chance to equalize from ten meters (69′). With the substitution of captain Hosiner, the Violets’ structure came back into play. Despite high intensity, both teams didn’t score anything and the Violets took the lead home. Ultimately, a hard-fought victory for the young violets, who move up to second place in the table – at least until tomorrow.

“Today I have mixed feelings. We didn’t show what we wanted. Masonry demanded everything from us. The loss of Vali Toifl obviously hurts us, Jonas (Überbacher, note) had a lot to do today, he beat us several times “It was difficult on the small, deep pitch, it was incredibly competitive. After taking the lead, the game got away from us, but we reacted really well by taking the lead again.”
