The reaction of the coach, Stéphane Guédet:
“This match is the story of the bottle half empty or half full. I’m happy to have equalized but disappointed not to have managed to win.
We start slowly and the referee sanctions us with a penalty after 2 minutes of play on a fault far from obvious (1-0). We then dominate the debates but are not fair enough in our choices and slow in our ball circulation. It was much better from the 20th minute, but it was also the start of the opponent goalkeeper’s festival, with 4 high-class saves including a penalty. The second period is an unchallenged domination on our part, but Dijon managed to counter us well and it is our goalkeeper who leaves us at 1-0. The Dijon goalkeeper also continued his festival, until our equalizer against in the 77th minute by Aguy on a pass from Camolli (1-1). We continued to push very hard until the end of the match, but a foot or some clumsiness prevented us from winning.“
Next match on Saturday April 22 at 3 p.m. at the Ganzau stadium against Nancy.
